High-quality materials and components make the BOQU PH5804 pH electrode particularly suitablefor the most demanding applications in process and industrial measurement technology. They are designed as combination electrodes (glass or metal electrode and reference electrode on one axis) Integrated Pt1000 temperature probe. The optimized PTFE annular diaphragm allows for fast response and is essentially unaffected by large contamination loads or oily/fatty process water and wastewater.
PH5804 pH electrode is the world's most advanced technology for pH and redox electrodes. Eachhigh-quality electrode is individually tested and comes with a test report. Standardized production facilities ensure product consistency. All standard pH5804 pH electrodes are manufactured from FDA compliant materials. They feature lead-free shaft glass and are RoHS-2 compliant.
Application
Process water: Process pressures up to 13 bar, wide temperature range up to 135°C, wide pH range from pH 0 to pH 14; suspensions, coatings and media containing solid particles.
Industrial wastewater engineering: process wastewater, wastewater with high media pollution (presence of oil or electrode poisons)
Microelectronics: process water, media containing electrode poisons(metal ions, complexing agents)
Power plants and waste incineration plants (flue gas scrubbing): This electrode can be considered for applications with a wide pH range (pH 0 to pH 14), the presence of fine ash particles, and poor water quality.
Sugar industry: sustained high temperatures and presence of electrode poisons (e.g. sulfides)

The electrode comes standard with four salt reserves in the form of salt rings, which makes it particularly suitable for use in low ionic media or high flow rates.
The salt reserve helps increase the service life of the electrode.
These rings are not a manufacturing defect (crystallization).
The "use status" of the electrode can be evaluated by the degree of reduction of the salt ring.
If electrode poisons such as sulfides are present in the measuring medium, the extended diffusion path (due to two consecutive chambers - the dual-chamber system and the double-diaphragm separation prevent electrode poisoning.
