What are the problems in the use of total nitrogen online monitor?

by:BOQU     2023-04-19
The test results of the Total Nitrogen Online Monitor depend on the samples submitted. Therefore, it is very important to collect representative water samples. A sample collected at a particular time and place may only be representative of the source composition at that time and place. When water sources are known to change over time, samples taken at time intervals and analyzed separately document the extent, frequency and duration of these changes. Collect samples from appropriate locations when the composition of the water source changes. Composite samples may also be submitted for water testing. A composite sample is a combination of samples collected at different times or from different locations, or both. When collecting hydrochemical samples, completely fill the sample container. Avoid metal-lined lids. The total nitrogen standard substance in water used in the experiment was an inorganic solution. In order to verify the applicability of the calibration curve, inorganic standard substances and organic standard substances with different known concentrations were selected for measurement to analyze whether the calibration curve has wide applicability. It can be concluded that the instrument uses inorganic nitrogen or organic nitrogen as a standard substance for curve calibration and verification, which can accurately evaluate the metering performance of the instrument. What are the existing problems in the use of the total nitrogen online monitor: 1. It is difficult to guarantee the operation reliability of some instruments. It has been debugged and calibrated during use, but there are still errors, which will affect the accuracy of the displayed value, making it difficult for monitoring personnel to judge. 2. At present, the online monitoring instruments configured in the online monitoring system are basically imported instruments, and there are not many domestic manufacturers engaged in the production of complete sets of online monitoring equipment, so the maintenance costs will be high, especially for accessories, and at the same time, the operation skills of maintenance personnel will be affected. The requirements are also relatively high. 3. Most of the instruments are directly or indirectly in contact with sewage, which puts forward higher requirements for the cleaning work of the instruments. Instruments without regular cleaning and maintenance often produce measurement errors during long-term operation, which affects the test results. 4. The equipment configuration of the monitoring system of some sewage plants does not meet the high-level system self-control requirements. For example, the number of instruments is insufficient, and the equipment and functions of the existing equipment are not enough, etc. Manual inspection is required to increase the insurance factor of monitoring operation.
