Online dissolved oxygen meter calibration process

1. Calibration function:

In order to measure accurate measurement results, it is necessary to perform polarization and calibration before the dissolved oxygen electrode is measured. The online dissolved oxygen meter has a variety of calibration functions, including zero calibration, full scale calibration, air pressure calibration, and salinity calibration. Polarization: For new electrodes, electrodes that have not been used for more than 24 hours, or electrodes that replace the electrolyte, the electrode needs 30-60 minutes of electrification and polarization time, and the electrode is disconnected from the instrument or shut down within 1 hour, and requires 5-25 minutes of electrification and polarization time. After polarization, calibration and measurement can be performed.

2. Zero oxygen calibration:

Put the dissolved oxygen electrode into 5% freshly made sodium sulfite solution, when the instrument is under measurement, press the 'mode' key, the instrument enters the mode selection situation, press the up key or the down key to select the 'Zero' mode situation ; Or when the instrument is in the mode selection state, directly press the up key or the down key to select the Zero mode state, and press the accept key to enter the zero oxygen calibration function state. After the reading is stable, press the accept key, the instrument exits the Zero mode, and enters the mode selection mode, and the zero oxygen calibration is over.

When the instrument is in zero oxygen calibration, before pressing the accept key, you can press the measurement key to cancel this situation and enter the measurement state.

3. Full scale calibration:

Take out the dissolved oxygen electrode from the solution, rinse it with water, carefully absorb the moisture on the surface of the film with filter paper, and put it into a container containing distilled water (such as a conical flask, a tall beaker) on the air near the water surface or place it on the surface of the water. Into the air, but the electrode surface can not occupy the water droplets, when the instrument is in the measurement state, press the mode key, the instrument will enter the mode selection state, press the up key or the down key to select the Full key mode; or the instrument is in the mode selection state, Press the up key or the down key directly to select the Full mode, and press the OK key to enter the full calibration function. After the reading is stable, press the accept key, the instrument exits the Full state, enters the mode selection state, and the full scale calibration ends.

When the instrument is in full-scale calibration, before pressing the accept key, you can press the measurement key to cancel this situation and enter the measurement state.

4. Salinity calibration:

Dissolved oxygen value is related to salinity, the preset salinity inside the instrument is 0.0g/L, and a suitable salinity value should be selected before measurement. When the instrument is in the measurement state, press the mode key, the instrument will enter the mode selection state, press the up key or the down key to select the Salt mode state; or when the instrument is in the mode selection state, directly press the up key or the down key to select the Salt mode state, and press Accept the button to enter the salinity calibration function.

At this moment, the online dissolved oxygen meter displays the salinity set at that time, you can press the up key or down key to modify the salinity value, after the modification is changed to the actual salinity value, press the accept key, the instrument completes the salinity calibration setting function, automatically exit the Salt mode and enter the mode selection situation.

When the instrument is in salinity calibration, the instrument flashes the salinity value at that time. Before pressing the acknowledge button, you can press the '/measure' button to cancel this situation and enter the measurement state. (Note: In general, if salinity calibration is not required, the default value of the instrument is 0.0g/L.

5. Air pressure calibration:

The dissolved oxygen value measured by the online dissolved oxygen meter is related to the atmospheric pressure value. The preset atmospheric pressure value inside the instrument is 101.3pa, and a suitable pressure value should be selected before measurement.

When the instrument is in the measurement state, press the mode key, the instrument enters the mode selection state, press the up key or the down key to select Air mode selection; or when the instrument is in the mode selection state, directly press the up key or the down key to select Air, press After confirming the button, the instrument will enter the air pressure calibration function.

At this moment, the instrument flashes the preset atmospheric pressure value, you can press the up key or the down key to modify the air pressure value, after changing it to the actual air pressure value, press the OK key, the instrument completes the air pressure calibration setting function and automatically exits the Air state, enter the mode selection situation.

When the online dissolved oxygen meter is in the air pressure calibration, the instrument flashes the current air pressure value. Before pressing the accept key, you can press the measurement key to cancel this situation and enter the measurement state.
