Chlorine is measured continuously. The residual chlorine meter is composed of signal measurement, calculation, display, network communication and panel instructions. The residual chlorine electrode includes a temperature electrode and a pH electrode to amplify the sampled signal through the instrument amplifier into a low-resistance voltage signal and send it to the calculation to display the measured value. The residual chlorine electrode uses gold (Pu) as the cathode, silver (Ag) as the anode, and the filling solution, that is, the electrolyte is 0.1MKCl, and a permeable membrane with selective hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is used. This permeable membrane can only contain hypochlorous acid molecules. Permeable freely, while hypochlorite ion (ClO-) and chlorine are impenetrable. During measurement, a polarization voltage is applied between the anode and the cathode, and HOCl molecules are consumed at the cathode through the permeable membrane, forming a current proportional to the concentration of hypochlorous acid to flow through the electrode. The instrument detects this current and converts it into the concentration of hypochlorous acid through calculation. , At the same time, the pH and temperature electrodes detect the pH value and temperature of the solution, and the meter converts the residual chlorine content in the water according to the detected pH and temperature.
