When the pH is constant, the ratio of hypochlorous acid (HClo) to hypochlorite ion (CLO-) in water is fixed. That is to say, hypochlorous acid (HClo) is decomposed by light and then converted into hypochlorous acid (HClo) until it is completely consumed. Therefore, improper control of the pH value of the swimming pool water will affect the detection of the residual chlorine detector. For example, if the pool water is pool water, if the PH ratio of hypochlorous acid is too high, hypochlorous acid will be produced, and hypochlorous acid will volatilize.
