Instructions for chlorine calibration of
residual chlorine online detector The residual chlorine online detector can be widely used in the continuous monitoring of residual chlorine in various water quality in electric power, waterworks, hospitals and other industries. It is used in drinking water treatment plants, canning plants, drinking water distribution networks, swimming pools, cooling circulating water, water quality treatment projects, etc. to continuously monitor and control the residual chlorine content in aqueous solutions. Since the zero current and electrode slope of each residual chlorine electrode are not the same, as the filling solution (electrolyte) is consumed, the zero current and slope will gradually change during use, resulting in aging phenomenon, and every time you add electrolyte or Replacing the permeable membrane will also cause changes in zero current and slope, which requires regular 'calibration' to ensure measurement accuracy. In the main menu, press the up and down keys to select residual chlorine calibration, and press ENTER to enter the residual chlorine calibration interface. 1. Residual chlorine zero point calibration To calibrate the zero point of the residual chlorine electrode, keep the permeable membrane head clean, and gently blot the water droplets at the bottom of the electrode with clean filter paper before calibration (do not wipe the electrode with filter paper, so as not to scratch the electrode membrane). Put the residual chlorine electrode in chlorine-free water (such as distilled water, pure water, etc.), press the ENTER key to enter the operating instrument, then press the MENU menu selection key to pop up the cursor, press the up and down keys to modify, the default value is 0, usually no need to change, etc. After the current is stable, press ENTER to save the data. After calibration, the current value fluctuates around 0.2nA, indicating that the zero position has been marked. Press the ESC key to return to the previous menu. 2. Residual chlorine slope calibration Calibrate the slope of the residual chlorine electrode. Enter the residual chlorine slope calibration menu. Before calibration, put the residual chlorine electrode in the residual chlorine standard solution of known concentration, and the pH electrode can also be placed (if there is no pH electrode, the pH should be manually compensated), press the ENTER key to enter the operating instrument, and then press the MENU menu to select Press the key to pop up the cursor, the default value is 0.20mg/L, press the up and down keys to change to the existing concentration value, such as 0.30mg/L, wait for the current or residual chlorine value to stabilize and press the ENTER key to save the data. After the residual chlorine value is stable (±0.01mg/L), it indicates that it has been marked. Press the ESC key to return to the previous menu.
