Expert in Water Quality Measurement and Water Treatment Project Since 2007
Product Overview
The PXG-2085Pro is BOQU’s online ammonia (NH3) meter/controller for continuous, in-line monitoring of ammonia concentration in water. It uses an ion-selective electrode (ISE) with a molded NH3 PVC membrane and a microcomputer-based controller with a user-friendly display. The unit supports panel/wall/pipe installation and is designed for robust field use (IP65).
Product Features
- ISE technology with replaceable ammonium sensor membrane and >1 year electrode life under typical conditions.
- Wide measurement range (trace to high: ~0.02 ppm up to 1000 ppm / 0–1000 mg/L), high resolution and accuracy.
- Outputs: 2 × 4–20 mA, RS485 Modbus RTU, and 3 relays (high/low control + clean).
- On-board data recording (up to 1,000 records), temperature compensation (Pt1000/NTC10K), anti-interference and surge protection, wide power input (90–260 VAC).
Product Value
The instrument delivers reliable, continuous ammonia monitoring that reduces manual sampling and lab costs while enabling real-time process control. Replaceable sensor membranes and long electrode life cut maintenance expenses and downtime. Multi-output communications and local data logging support integration with control systems and regulatory reporting.
Product Advantages
- High stability and precision across a very wide measurement range.
- Lower total cost of ownership due to durable, replaceable ISE membranes and simple maintenance.
- Flexible control and integration options (relays, analog outputs, Modbus) for automated responses.
- Tough design with electromagnetic protection, power-off data protection, and broad power compatibility for global deployment.
Application Scenarios
Suitable for wastewater treatment plants, industrial effluent monitoring, aquaculture systems, agricultural/farm runoff control, and other process water quality applications where ammonia monitoring and automated control are needed. Use cases include process monitoring, alarm/control of dosing/cleaning systems, regulatory compliance, and real-time optimization of biological treatment.
