Product Overview
1) Product overview
Product Features
The BOQU BH-485-BAG Online Chlorophyll/Blue-green Algae Sensor is an inline digital fluorescence sensor for real-time measurement of cyanobacteria (phycocyanin or phycoerythrin) and chlorophyll a in water. It measures from 100 to 2,000,000 cells/mL with RS485 Modbus RTU communication, runs on DC 12V, and is built for continuous deployment (IP68, 37 mm × 220 mm). Materials include SUS316L for normal use and titanium alloy for seawater service.

2) Product features
Product Advantages
- Wide measurement range (100–2,000,000 cells/mL) with
Application Scenarios
- Fast, continuous online monitoring with standard RS485 Modbus RTU output.
- Optical design provides turbidity rejection (small sample volume), ambient light rejection, and integrated LED brightness compensation.
- Separate chlorophyll a option reduces spectral interference.
- Deployable in wet environments (IP68) with standard 10 m cable (extendable to 100 m); recommended for turbidity
3) Product value
The sensor delivers continuous, high-sensitivity detection of blue‑green algae and chlorophyll to support early warning of algal blooms, protect drinking-water intakes, and optimize aquaculture and environmental management. Real-time data reduces manual sampling and laboratory delays, enabling faster operational decisions, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction for public health and ecosystems.
4) Product advantages
- Factory-quality manufacturing and strict inspection for low defect rates.
- Durable construction with marine-grade material option (titanium) for seawater use.
- Built-in optical compensation and ambient light rejection improve accuracy across deployments.
- Standard industrial communication (RS485 Modbus) eases integration with SCADA/PLC systems.
- BOQU’s export experience and after-sales support and direct factory supply provide competitive pricing and reliable service.
5) Application scenarios
Suitable for continuous monitoring at drinking-water plant inlets, raw water sources, reservoirs and surface waters, aquaculture farms, landscape/stormwater ponds, and coastal/sea water sites. For highly heterogeneous blooms or higher turbidity, multi-point deployment or localized sampling is recommended.
