Expert in Water Quality Measurement and Water Treatment Project Since 2007
Product Overview
The TFeG-3060 (NEW TFeG-3060) is an online, automatic total iron analyzer from BOQU that uses o‑phenanthroline spectrophotometry to measure total iron in water. It is designed to meet national environmental protection standards for heavy metal monitoring and provides continuous, automatic analysis of iron in surface water, industrial process water and industrial wastewater.
Product Features
- Optical o‑phenanthroline spectrophotometric method: ferric is reduced to ferrous, reacts with phenanthroline to form a colored complex, and color change is converted to total iron concentration.
- Measuring range 0.00–5.00 mg/L; accuracy ≤±10% (≥0.2 mg/L) or ≤±0.02 mg/L (
- Flexible timing: minimum measurement cycle ~50 min, digestion adjustable 5–120 min, sampling interval 55–9999 min, calibration 1–99 days.
- Outputs: two 4–20 mA channels, RS232/RS485; touch-screen display; data retained through alarms and power loss.
- Automatic residual reagent purge on reset/power-on and monthly maintenance typically ~30 minutes.
Product Value
The analyzer delivers continuous, standardized, and reliable iron monitoring for regulatory compliance and process control, reducing the need for frequent laboratory sampling and manual analysis. It enables faster response to contamination events, supports heavy-metal prevention programs, and helps industries and municipalities maintain environmental discharge limits.
Product Advantages
- Built with high-quality materials and advanced BOQU technology for durability and consistent performance.
- Meets national environmental standards and is tuned for heavy-metal control projects.
- User-adjustable parameters (timing, calibration) allow adaptation to different water matrices.
- Low operational burden with automated routines (self-purge, data retention) and straightforward maintenance.
Application Scenarios
Suitable for continuous monitoring of total iron in surface water, rivers and lakes, industrial process water, industrial effluents (e.g., mining, electroplating, steel, power plants), municipal wastewater treatment plants, and environmental monitoring stations requiring real-time compliance with heavy-metal regulations.
