Product Overview
1) Product overview
Product Features
- The CPH-809X PH/ORP (pH) sensor from BOQU is an industrial online pH electrode designed for harsh, particulate-laden process liquids.
Product Value
- It measures pH across the full 0.0–14.0 range, supports temperature compensation (PT100), and is rated for high temperatures (0–95°C).
Product Advantages
- The probe is built in PPS polymer with 3/4" NPT pipe-thread connections and a low-noise cable for industrial installation.
Application Scenarios
2) Product features
- Large polymer outer-surface electrochemical area for faster response compared with conventional liquid-junction electrodes.
- Non-porous outer-surface “liquid junction” design that resists clogging and prevents cross-contamination of the reference system.
- Optional temperature compensation and electrode grounding to stabilize readings in noisy field environments.
- Rugged construction with extended service life (manufacturer states at least 3× life of conventional electrodes) and pressure capability (specification lists 6 bar; design supports much higher structural robustness).
3) Product value
- Enables reliable, real-time pH control in challenging slurries and corrosive process streams, helping maintain optimal chemistry and process performance.
- Reduces measurement drift, maintenance and replacement frequency due to clogging or reference contamination, lowering operating costs and downtime.
- Improves process efficiency and equipment protection (for example in desulfurization systems where pH control impacts SO2 absorption, scaling and corrosion).
4) Product advantages
- Specifically engineered for slurry and desulfurization environments: large reaction area and non-porous junction minimize fouling.
- Durable materials (PPS) and robust mechanical design extend service life and tolerate demanding industrial conditions.
- Good metrology: full-range pH measurement with ±0.1 pH accuracy and integrated temperature compensation options.
- Backed by BOQU’s manufacturing experience and customer service support for industrial installations.
5) Application scenarios
- Primary: limestone-gypsum wet flue-gas desulfurization (FGD) circulating slurry pH monitoring and control (typical optimal slurry pH range ~4.8–6.0).
- Other industrial uses: chemical process tanks, mineral slurries, wastewater treatment and any application where particulate-laden or corrosive liquids make conventional pH electrodes unreliable.
- Can also be applied where irrigation or agricultural water systems require robust in-line pH monitoring for nutrient solutions or sediment-containing waters, provided the process conditions match the probe’s specifications.
