Calibration of CODS-3000-01 Online UV COD Sensor

Step 1: Wire connection

Brown:+12VDC 

Black:AGND

Blue:RS485 A

White:RS485 B

Yellow + Green:Ground Lead

Step 2:Open test software

Choose right Port and click “open”

Click “UVCOD” and input Sensor address and Baud rate.

Step 3: Set COD factor before calibration

1)Factor must be as 1 before calibration, 

2)If not 1, please set it to 1 in configuration area.

3)Then press “确定”(OK)

Step 4: Set Wiper

1) Wiping cycle input 4096, then click”确定”，

2) Then the wiper will run in every test time.

3) Note:”确定” means “OK”; “取消” means “Cancel”

Step 5: Select"Water sample"

1)Select “water sample” in Curve type,

2)Then press “确定”(OK)

Step 6:

1)Prepare a 2L beaker,

2)Put buffer in it and the COD buffer value is 200mg/L in this test video.

3)Shake the sensor and start the wiper 

4)Ensure there are no air bubbles on the sensor measuring membrane

5) Waitting 5 minutes to value stable 

Step 7:

1)After value stable, please write down the UV254 value, here is 212.41

2)Input this value in Water sample 2[m-1]: 212.41;

3)After input, press “Enter” and click “确定”(OK).

4)Then input buffer value:200 in Water Sample 2[mg/L]:200

5)After input, press “Enter” and click “确定”(OK).

Step 8:

1)Then there is calibration recording in status display area.

2)Final step: change to Wiping cycle back to normal as need

3)Calibration finished.
